Lesotho Hike

Jono is keen to explore more of the mountains of lesotho, and is organising a hike through this uncharted part of the Maluti's.

One of the least visited and most spectacular parts of the Southern
African mountains is the ridge of 3000m peaks which lies between the
Mafika Lisiu Pass and the Moteng Pass in Lesotho (Katse-Oxbow).

The hike will take four days. For those of you who know what  hiking in
the berg is like, you will have a good idea of what to expect.

The area is spectacular with dramatic peaks and valleys, very very few
people, and rugged terrain.

What you will need:
Backpacks, hiking boots, mountain tent, sense of humour, blister packs &
all the other standard requisites of a berg hike. There are no accurate
maps of the area so navigation will be a mixture of intuition and
imprecise gps cordinates. This is going to be something of an adventure !
