Groot Olifants River - December 2000
Heavy rains turned this quiet little run into grade IV territory. Everybody had a rip - even the swimmers.
Also known as the 'pink hovercraft trip'. A trip much famed for the quality of the sitings of reptilian life and the reactions thereto.
This time it was a hike deep into the Wolberg mountains - and we took the dining room table as well (or at least Paul did). Brian was the corden bleu chef and was it good. Seldom has such a fine table been laid in such an enchanting spot.
