Hi everyone.

I did a hiking weekend with ESSA a short while ago at Mountain Sanctuary Park and the hiking was amazing (yes, yes I know…how could I not have been at Mountain Sanctuary Park before then J)

Anyway, I convinced a few friends with my spectacular photos and we are going on a day trip to explore the kloofs at Mountain Sanctuary Park.

Would anyone like to join us for the day?

The park’s gates open at 8:00 and we hope to be there at that time……realistically I think the hike will begin at about 9:00

The gates close at 17:30

Day visitors costs are R30 per person plus R10 per car.

You are of course welcome to stay over and camp, but most of my crowd have other obligations for Sunday and we will be returning to Pretoria.

We need to phone the park and book as day visitors. Their number is 014 534 0114

I am not sure if we need a Permit to explore the kloofs?

I will not be supplying anything and everyone will have to bring their own breakfast, snacks and lunch.
