The Haenertsburg Iron Crown Challenge    10Km and 21.1Km Trail Runs summit Limpopo's Highest Mountain This trail event takes place in stunningly beautiful surroundings with superb views of the mountains and Ebenezer Dam. The start and finish will be close to the Haenertsburg Village Community Centre. The route follows the village streets, earth roads, firebreaks and single track footpaths avoiding the R71 and R528 roads. The 21.1km route climbs 687m from 1439m in the village to the top of the Iron Crown, the highest point in the Limpopo province at 2126m. The 10km is less testing and climbs to 1600m. Entry limited to 200 per event and closes on the 14th of July 2010 Date : 17 July 2010 Time: 7h30 Costs: R80 for the 21.1km and R50 for the 10km. Funds raised will go towards approved Rotary "Preserve Planet Earth" projects. PPE is a Rotary International initiative. How to enter : www.entrytime.com
